Day 2
Today I went to go get all of the supplies that I needed, based on the instructions I found yesterday.
This job was fairly easy and straight-forward. I was able to find everything that I needed at Walmart. Materials for these kind of projects add up quickly, so I had to really make sure that I got just enough of everything that I could finish the project, but also have material left over in case I made mistakes (which I think are inevitable).
In about 45 minutes I found everything I needed. My list is listed below.
1. 20 T-Shirts (which I had already)
2. Fusible Interfacing
3. Fleece
4. Batting
The hardest thing today was just making sure what I was getting was the right thing. Since I haven't done many sewing projects before this, I was not very familiar with these materials, and didn't really know what they looked like. Trying to find something on the shelf that you don't know what looks like can needless to say be difficult.
But as I said, I was in and out of the store in about 45 minutes and got everything I need for the upcoming days!!
