5/25/2017 0 Comments RelaxSummer is quickly approaching, and personally, I can’t wait. Currently I’m buried under a pile of makeup work from being sick and busy studying for exams, but at the same time, I can’t seem to get anything done because all I’m thinking about is how I can’t wait for school to be out.
I know I’m not the only person stuck in this horrible rut, so today’s post is just a quick encouragement to all the kids who need it. My biggest piece of advice is to STOP PROCRASTINATING (which is ironic for me to say because I’m the biggest procrastinator in the world). My first-ever AP test is coming up, and somehow I managed to wait until the very last minute to even open up the study guide I bought on Amazon. I’m pretty sure I made myself sick from trying to work through it so fast, and I ended up missing two days of school, which really didn't help my dilemma at all. So, my point is that even though it might seem like a big deal right now, it’ll pay off in the end. Whenever I can’t seem to open up my backpack after school to study, I just picture how much happier I’ll be in 20 days when I figure out that I got a great score on my exam as a result of putting in a little extra effort. Second, DON’T STRESS! This is something I constantly have to tell myself, but I feel like it works better when someone else tells me too :) So, I’m here to tell you that there’s no reason to stress, as long as you do the best you can. Everything will work out in the end, and stressing helps with absolutely nothing. YOU CAN DO IT!! Just focus on one class, one worksheet, one exam at a time. In the end, you’ll feel good with the effort you put in and knowing that you did the best you could.
